LEMONADE

Good Morning Blogmates,

Again we are blessed to see the rising of a new morning, by God's grace and mercy we have been given another chance. which bring me to my topic of today" Lemonade". Last evening our daughter sent us a little clip of she and her fiancee feeding a sliver of lemon to our grand princess Taylor. They called themselves trying to 1. show how greedy she is and 2. what her reaction would be once she got a taste of the sour fruit.

Well when they gave her to slice she put it in her mouth took a bite and if you blinked you did not even get to see her "small" reaction to it being sour. Taylor, proceeded to eat that lemon like it was nothing her dad's response was " that was not the way it was supposed to go". Hahahaha! the joke was on him and mommy.

My point being this. Sometimes life will hand us lemons, however we do not always have to choose to accept the bitter taste for what it appears to be. Like Taylor, who is not even a year old yet bit into that lemon and decided that she was going to make the best out of this treat that she was given even though it was not as sweet as any treat she had previously been given. when we are faced with trials and adversarity we do NOT have to lay down and take it, we have the option of making lemonade.

Our choices in this life determine the outcome. that is not to say that we will always have smoothe sailing, yes we will have the storms in our lives, however we have the choice to either give up and accept the sour taste that the situation or condition presents or we can take the time to re-evaluate our position and make lemonade. Personally, speaking there if nothing more refreshing than a nice cold glass of the good stuff.

Today I encourage you to take the slices of lemon that you might be handed today, squeeze add water a bit of sugar along with a POSITIVE attitude and I will guarantee you that the taste will be quite refreshing.
